Thousand Oaks Pediatrics has been providing comprehensive pediatric care to infants, children, and adolescents for over 35 years. We strive to practice holistic care, addressing both the physical, developmental, and emotional needs of our patients. As much as possible, we try to practice evidence based medicine according to the best current practices. We strongly believe in preventative care, and encourage vaccination of children to prevent serious disease. We are conservative in prescribing medication such as antibiotics, or other treatments when not absolutely necessary. We see ourselves as consultants whose job it is to empower and educate parents. We endorse technology, but only as it can improve patient care. To that extent, we were the first pediatric practice in this community to fully implement electronic medical records.
